How to use
Routines help provide young children with a reassuring rhythm to their day. This rhythm helps children to prepare for what is going to happen next, and to trust that their needs will be met. Routines can also help children to learn to take responsibility for themselves and others, and strengthen their self-concept as being competent and capable. You can find out more about establishing routines on pages 28-29 of He Māpuna te Tamaiti.
