EPIC resources

Description

EPIC for New Zealand Schools is collection of quality subscription e-resources managed by the National Library and fully funded by the Ministry of Education for access by all New Zealand school students and staff.

EPIC gives schools access to electronic resources including magazines, newspapers, ebooks and images. These resources cover all curriculum learning areas in primary and secondary schooling. Older students can also be encouraged to access content independently.

How to use

Teachers can access content by clicking on any of the resource links on the EPIC Schools website. Teachers will then be prompted to enter their EPIC school login. Note every New Zealand school has a school login that can be used by all staff and students at that school.

If students don’t have their school logins simply email EPIC at epic@dia.govt.nz using a New Zealand school email address, and EPIC will provide the login.
