Home Learning TV | Papa Kāinga TV

Subtitle
Home learning and Māori TV education programmes launched on Wednesday 15 April

Home Learning | Papa Kāinga TV was launched on 15 April 2020 as part of a package of supports that ensured every child had at least one way of accessing the curriculum while they couldn’t attend school or early learning because of COVID-19.

The response to Home Learning | Papa Kāinga TV has been overwhelmingly positive. The channel helped learners, whānau, teachers, schools and early learning services across New Zealand. It was also relayed across the Pacific Islands, including being hosted on national networks in the Cook Islands and Fiji to support their own learners.

Watch programmes and lessons anytime OnDemand

All of the programmes and lessons developed for Home Learning | Papa Kāinga TV are available to watch anytime on TVNZ OnDemand. Turning on the captions when children are watching Home Learning | Papa Kāinga TV can help their learning.
