The Virtual Learning Network Community (VLNC) is stepping up during Terms 3 and 4 to work with schools that need support for online and distance learning.
Support for online teaching
The VLNC is offering support to schools that need to move their teaching and learning online:
The NEX Kōtuitui workshop series supports teachers and school leaders to strengthen their confidence and capability in teaching and learning online. Registration is now open.
Targeted PLD for schools that most need help in making the transition. The VLNC will provide direct and responsive support to schools. This may be in the form of online workshops with groups of staff, advice for senior leadership, or with individual teachers. For more information, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Online learning for students
Secondary schools that need to access online learning programmes for individual learners will be considered on a case by case basis. For more information, email email@example.com.
Primary age learners can access online programmes through the VLN Primary. Additional classes have been made available for enrolment. More information on programmes available, costs and how to apply can be found on their website.
