Now available: ClassroomNZ2020 online courses

14 Aug 2020

The Ministry of Education has been preparing for possible disruption of learning. We are ready to supplement schools' online learning programmes with courses on ClassroomNZ2020.

ClassroomNZ2020 is a new platform with a range of online courses that will be available until the end of February 2021. The online courses, developed by Te Aho o Te Kura Pounamu (Te Kura), cover a wide range of NCEA subjects and levels and are available to all schools. The course materials can be used by ākonga in wharekura whio are working towards NCEA standards derived from the New Zealand Curriculum.

Additional resources for Years 7-10 have been made available to Auckland schools in light of the change in Alert Level. We will make these more widely available if alert levels change elsewhere.

ClassroomNZ2020 is easy to use and we can provide you access to this online learning platform quickly. You can register your interest by having a school leader email us at: interestinclassroomnz2020@education.govt.nz. We will work with you to help you get started.
